The Mashriq News site has reported the following from the Public Relations of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization: Haditeck publications have recently published a German version of the book ‘Giyaam A’shura’ or the ‘.The Ashura Uprising’ This book is one of the works of Imam Khomeini.
The following is an extract from the aforementioned book: “Salam to Hussein ibn Ali (as), who with the few companions he had, rose against the oppression of those who unjustly called themselves the caliph of the Muslims. Imam Hussein (as) wanted to end the oppression they were inflicting by rising against them. Although the Imam had very few companions and equipment, he never surrendered to oppressors. In order to spread the slogan, ‘hayhaat min al-dhilla’ or ‘(we the true followers of God's chosen messenger) never bear contempt (of allegiance)’, to all those who are supporters of justice and truth, Imam Hussein (as) made Karbala a place where he sacrificed himself, his children and his few companions.”
The German translation of this book consists of 103 pages, costs 7 euros and is now currently being sold in Germany’s book market.
