Sayyid Hassan sent his commiserations to Sayyid Muhammad Khatami for the loss of his brother-in-law (his sister’s husband). The Jamaran News agency has released Sayyid Hassan Khomeini’s statement and it is as follows:
Dear Hujjat-ul-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Hajj Sayyid Muhammad Khatami, may your status be elevated
I offer my condolences for this tragedy. I ask God to elevate the status of the deceased, who had the honour of being a father of a martyr of the Islamic revolution. I ask God to bestow you and your honourable household, especially his respectful wife, with patience and rewards.
