A group of Pakistani men and women took part in the Muharram ceremonies, which were held at the Imam’s shrine. On the day of Ashura, in the afternoon, a group of Shia followers and mourners of the loss of Imam Hussein (as) went to the Imam’s shrine to take part in the ceremonies there. The Pakistani mourners were also present. They paid their respects to the Imam’s shrine and carried out their own ceremony to mourn the loss of Imam Hussein (as) and his righteous companions.
