Imam Khomeini brought independence for the Islamic Iran

The speaker of the United Front of Fundamentalists said: “Imam Khomeini, in a time that suffocation of thought had become a culture in Iran, brought independence for the Islamic Iran.”

According to a report by Fars news agency, Manouchehr Mottaki by mentioning to this issue among the people of Shahreza, stated: “Before the victory of the Islamic revolution, consolidating a dependence to the West was the main solution for the regime to preserve its power.”

He continued: “During the Pahlavi regime suffocation was somehow spread in our country that even the Shah didn’t have any freedom.”

Mottaki by defining the shameful capitulation law said: “This law is actually the most obvious document for the tragic social and international situation of Iran in those days.”

The former foreign minister of Iran by pointing to the huge social and intellectual developments after the Islamic revolution, stated: “The most important art of Imam Khomeini was getting the people to know their true inner reality and self believing which finally led to the victory of the Islamic revolution of Iran.”
