The Imam Khomeini and Contemporary Literature Seminar was held by the efforts of Farsi Research Center of Iran’s Culture house in New Delhi and with the cooperation of the Literature Department of the Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini's Works.

The Imam Khomeini and Contemporary Literature Seminar was held by the efforts of Farsi Research Center of Iran’s Culture house in New Delhi and with the cooperation of the Literature Department of the Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini's Works, and by the participation of Mr. Saeedbeig, Tajikistan’s Ambassador to New Delhi, Iranian artists and poets and Indian cultural figures, on Monday June 4th. Alireza Qazve, the Iranian and poet hosted the event. The artists with the Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini's Works’ delegation were Mohsen Karimi Rahjerdi (translator), Reza Mahdavi (Santur player), Mohammad Heshmati (singer), Abduljabbar Kakaei (poet and writer) and Dr. Hamid Ziaei.

This event was mainly about the two national and religious occasions of the June rising (15 Khordad rising) and Imam Ali’s (a.s.) birth. Also from the literature figures of India present at the event were Professor Talheh Razavi Bargh, Dr. Dahr Mindernat, Professor Sharif Hussein Qasemi, Dr. Sayyid Mohammad Yonus Jafari and Johar Ali Khan.

Mohammad Heshmati and Reza Mahdavi performed a sing from one of Imam’s lyrics.

Abduljabbar Kakaei also recited one of his poems entitled “We are free” about Imam Ali.
