Abdullah Manji introduced himself: "My association is with Iran trade association. I work for the social investment to assist my people for having relations with other countries especially with Iran, Iraq and other Muslim countries to promote social welfare and education. So in this field we have a chance to participate in the anniversary of Imam Khomeini."
"Since inception of the Islamic revolution in Iran more than thirty years ago at that time wondering to find a strength path toward the Sirat al-Mustaqim (the straight path), I myself came in intellectual academic level in scientific field as a mechanical engineer but in my heart I liked to search and find the real path. I saw the picture of Imam Khomeini when he was in the plane for Iran, when I saw him in my heart I felt that he is the real leader of the Muslim world and it was more than thirty years ago and soon after that I started to have connection with Iran and the first year I was invited to come and see the revolution in Iran. It was the first year of the Islamic revolution that I started to discover and study about teachings of Islam and teachings of Ahlul Bayt. I joined the Islamic revolution in Iran brought by Imam Khomeini more than thirty years ago." said Abdullah Manji.
He added: "As I mentioned, I wanted to find the real teachings of Imam Khomeini. Before that I was wondering the real path but when Imam Khomeini brought about the Islamic revolution I found that he is the real leader not only to your country he had come to help the oppressed people because the oppressed people are in all over the world."
He then evaluated the Islamic Awakening and added: "The Islamic revolution of Iran is for the world so I found the path and the path means that previously I was practicing Islam through searching Mazhab but not Ahlul Bayt but after that I studied the books and the ideology that Iran spread out. We started to establish a center to culture revolution to have the political revolution and so this is that I come in contact, since the beginning of the Islamic revolution I walked with Imam for the whole ten years and after that for 24 years. My duty is to concentrate on printing books, giving lecture, setting up institute, or Husseinie or building mosque. It is what I have done for the last 33 years. Awakening means the Muslim world were wondering and much sleeping but now there would be the fight back with the arrogant like the superpowers."
Manji mentioneing his hometown, Thailand, described the situation of Islam over there: "To our people we say what is the Islamic revolution what is the teaching of Islam in practical point of view, what is culture and what is Islamic society. we worked on intellectual aspect we have good connections with the Buddhist organizations we have good connection with some universities in our country because we are taught no matter that we are Muslim, Buddhist or Christian we live in harmony we live in unity we have never been enemy to each other because as we have unity we talk to them and explain to them. Now, after thirty three years the fact is that you cannot overcome corruption with the name of democracy. The Islamic revolution in Iran has brought about fight with corruption and the people of Iran stand on their two legs and you can see them."
Abdullah Manji pointed to the most important idea of Imam Khomeini in his oponion: "In my opinion what Imam said no east no west, Islam is the best. Because before Imam said this as you have seen, but Imam told the whole world that Islam is the best, meaning no matter you are in the east or west, Islam is the way of life, and Islam is the means to set up your life, to set up your family, your social and political world view. So this is what I love most among what Imam said."
At the end he concluded: "My last speak is that we have to continue our world to serve the will of Imam, like what I said, speak as Imam speaks, think as Imam thinks and remember him as long as you live and it is my idea about Imam."
