The premier made remarks during a visit to the Iranian book stall set up at an exhibition in the capital city of Tunis. Al-Jabali noted that entrance into this book stall reminds us of great and enriched culture and civilization of the Iranian nation.
He added that the Tunisian higher ministry for education in close coordination with some other organizations will hold summits and exhibitions regarding the Iranian culture and the Persian literature in coming months.
This comes as the North African country plans to hold some international summits on poetry of the famous Persian poet Ferdowsi and some other high-profile historical Iranian figures.
He went on to say that the Iranian literature has remained committed to the moralistic values throughout the history and this recognition itself is of a great significance and priority.
It is worth mentioning that the revolution led by Imam Khomeini revived the Iranian and Islamic culture, civilization and literature.
The director of the Iranian cultural house presented ‘Shahnameh’, the collection of Ferdowsi poetry, to Prime Minister al-Jabali as a gift during a ceremony.
