From very beginning of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini had pursue the officials to manage to hold a historic referendum in order to establish an Islamic-democratic system in the country.
Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic, through his historic speeches and messages had urged the public to make sure the vast turnout during the historic referendum in 1979.
Thirty nine years have passed since the people of Iran massively participated in a historic referendum which took place just in less than two months after victory of Islamic Revolution of 1979 under the leadership of Imam Khomeini.
