Imam Khomeini always used to advise his pupils to select and follow a sole plan and a main favorite relgious scholar to follow their lessons and lectures.
Imam made such an advice because students during those times were free to attend lectures of any of the senior clerics and no single curriculum was obligatory.
Beside such a study plan, Imam also recommended the seminary students that they were free to attend the moral lessons from senior clergies and could bound themselves for extra curriculum activities.
By Imam’s suggestion, a discipline could be seen and in the long run the students Imam suggested such a plan to create discipline among the seminary students which could turn them a learned scholar for future.
