According to Imam, the deep love for worldly affairs and close association with material world could lead to an all-out collapse of societies and moral decline of humans.
Association with material objects or matters causes ordinary humans to fall in love with them and left far behind from spiritual prospects.
Imam maintained that devotees of God can own a kingdom or be blessed with great divine bounties, but they still wouldn’t become enslave to these material fortunes.
Therefore, material-minded people are subject to moral decline, while the societies detached to spirituality couldn’t be endurable and were destined to decline.
