Imam Khomeini’s Clear Response to BBC Reporter

Imam Khomeini said in a historic interview with the British broadcaster that the external powers have been meddling in Iran’s affairs during the Shah regime.

The interview was conducted during Imam’s stay on the suburbs of the French capital, Paris.

The great spiritual and political leader said that Shah was a brutal ruler and committed treachery towards the Iranian nation.

Imam also went onto say that Iran has no independence policy and was depending on the world arrogant and colonial powers.

The great Imam also made clear that the people will form an Islamic-democratic government and he would continue to issue guidance for the masses and public.

Imam also ruled out any type of role for the brutal Shah in the democratic government under his wise and divine leadership.

The world religious leader also made a crystal clear that Iran’s indolence was undermined by a constant interference by colonial powers in its internal affairs.

Imam further stressed that the next democratic government under his leadership would abide by the Islamic laws and would spare no efforts to maintain law and order and respect the rights of citizens.

Many scholars and intellectuals believe that the founder of the Islamic Republic truly exemplified the true and genuine teachings of the holy prophet of Islam and his infallible successors in his lifestyle.
