American Tourists Visit Imam Native House in Khomein

The simply built residences of Imam attract millions of pilgrims from around the world each year.

A group of American tourists visited Imam native house in the city of Khomein, and were deeply impressed by simple lifestyle of Imam’s households and appreciated Imam’s devotion for his country and the oppressed nations across the globe and his spiritual and religious leadership role for Muslim world.

It is noteworthy that the visitors also pay a visit to the galleries which contain several images, paintings, and documents reflecting the historic passage of the Islamic Revolution. Each of these objects bears a description and shows the history of the greatest movement of the twentieth century.

Ruhullah Musawi Khomeini was born on 20 Jamadi al-Akhir 1320/24 September 1902 in the small town of Khomein, some 160 kilometers to the southwest of the holy city of Qom.
