Muslim to Display Unity on International Quds Day

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has said that the Muslim will demonstrate unity on the International Quds Day.

Iran’s president says Muslim nations will tell the world during the upcoming International Quds Day rallies that they will never forget Israel’s occupation of Palestine.

Hassan Rouhani said the Muslim world will demonstrate its unity on Friday and condemn oppression of Palestinians as well as the silence of some countries regarding their plight, Press TV reported.

The president noted that this year’s rallies are particularly important. He said that’s because mercenaries linked to Zionists are shedding the blood of people in the region.

Every year, on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, rallies and marches are held to honor the Palestinian people’s resistance against Israel and their struggle to liberate Palestine. The International Quds Day was announced by the late founder of Iran’s Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini.
