Massive Rallies Marked International Quds Day

People across the globe have held massive rallies to mark the International Quds Day on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan.

The Iranian people took to the streets of the capital Tehran and major Iranian cities of Isfahan, Yazd, Shiraz, Kerman as well as other towns and cities in a show of solidarity with Palestinian people.

 The participants chanted slogans against Israel and called for the liberation of all occupied lands. 

The rallies and marches were also attended by the senior government officials as well. 

The day is observed annually across various parts of globe and is acknowledged as a symbol for all oppressed people and nations.

 The day was announced by the late founder of Iran’s Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini to ensure that the Palestinian cause would never be forgotten.

The rallies and marches were also held in solidarity with Palestinian people were held in many countries, including Pakistan and Bahrain.

 Iraqi people and members of the Popular Mobilization Units also held similar rallies in the capital Baghdad. 

Similar rallies were also held in Syria and the Indian-administered Kashmir. 

Thousands of people flooded the streets of the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, to denounce the Israeli regime’s crimes against Palestinians on the International Quds Day.

During the Friday march, the Yemeni demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and chanted anti-Israel slogans to show their solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian nation.

International Quds day rallies continue to attract more people every year across the different parts of the world.

This year’s Quds Day comes as world is wising up to Israel’s brutal tactics in suppressing the Palestinian nation and its ongoing land theft in the occupied territories.
