I too was in attendance when the bomb explosion that rocked the Tehran Friday Prayer service occurred. My mother and the rest of the family were at the Imam’s residence. Everybody was worried and anxious since they had no news of me. Thus when I entered the house, I saw my mother protest to me (because there had been rumours beforehand that either the Iraqis would attack the Friday Prayer service or there would be a bomb explosion) and say, “why did you go! You who are pregnant should not have attended even if it was for the sake of the child in your womb.” However, the Imam who was seated and having his lunch told me with a smile, “Are you alright?” I said yes and thanked him and then the Imam whispered in my ears: “You did a very good thing by attending the Friday prayer service. I liked you very much for having attended such a prayer.”
