The Imam had recommended to me: “Recite your ritual prayers in a proper manner because the Prophets always recited their ritual prayers. The ritual prayer is the path of worship and is conversation with God; and it is not sufficient to talk to God only in a superficial manner; rather, one must listen to the words of God from within one’s heart as well.”
