The Imam had exceptional respect for his children – and for his elder child in particular. He would behave in a very cheerful and poised manner with his children. Sometimes, on some pretext or the other, he would go to the kitchen and without hinting at anything, pour tea for us. However, we would feel embarrassed by this gesture of the Imam.
