The senior reporters, journalists and officials from ISNA news agency held a meeting with Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of Imam Khomeini to seek his advice and guidance.
Several domestic, regional and international issues were reportedly discussed during the session.
The journalist and officials also performed prayers which were led by Imam Khomeini’s grandson.
It is noteworthy that ISNA news organization is run by Iranian Students.
Iranian media has made significant progress following the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
Imam Khomeini wanted the academics and mediamen to equip themselves with variety of disciplines of knowledge including several inter disciplinary fields.
The founder of the Islamic Republic also wanted journalists, professors and seminary lecturers to decorate themselves with ethics, virtues and piety alongside the knowledge as well.
