Imam Khomeini never sought publicity, reputation

The founder of the Islamic Republic has had never sought to appear on media outlet to seek publicity or reputation.

The world religious and spiritual leader once had urged the senior officials and employees of the Iranian national broadcasting service that he shouldn’t be given too much significance on TV and radio programs.  

Imam Khomeini showed his inconvenience that he was being given too much coverage over the national media. 

The father of the revolution made remarks while addressing to head of the media and accompanied members of delegation.

Imam also emphasized that more importance should be attached to the oppressed people and all walks of life who had greatly contributed to the emergence of the Islamic Revolution.

Imam Khomeini also noted that the problems facing the oppressed class of the society should also become part of national media debate and programs.

The great Imam once described himself as the servant of the nation. 

The Islamic Revolution emerged triumphant with great support by mass public under the wise and rational leadership of Imam in 1979.

Imam Khomeini revived the divine and human values and established a modern Islamic-democratic system and changed the power balance on the international stage in the interests of the oppressed nations.
