The holy mausoleum of the founder of the Islamic Republic is becoming increasingly a center for religious and cultural activities.

Imam Khomeini’s holy mausoleum which is located on the outskirts of Tehran is frequently visited by tourists, pilgrims and devotes from across Iran and the world.  

Imam’s shrine has also been turned into a major center for cultural, religious and academic activities in recent years. 

Universities and colleges and libraries are established and being constructed around the holy site. 

Congregational prayers and special sessions of Quran are regularly held and a spiritual atmosphere brings comfort to believers. 

Imam Khomeini, the world religious and spiritual leader set up an Islamic-democratic system following the victory of the Islamic Revolution under his victory in 1979. 

The Islamic Revolution brought prosperity and strengthened the oppressed people around the globe. 

Imam Khomeini’s divine, spiritual, political, cultural and academic legacy is becoming popular in various parts of the world.
