Leader warns of attempts to harm Iran

Enemies have left no stone unturned over the past decades to destroy Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, says Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

The Supreme Leader made the remarks while addressing a group of people from the holy city of Qom on Saturday.

The Supreme Leader also noted that Iran faces a vast enemy front comprised of the US, the Israeli regime and the Takfiri elements, including the Daesh terror group. “Enemies have focused all their attempts on uprooting the flourishing tree of the Islamic Revolution.”

Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that the country should make all efforts to foil such plots.

The Leader also underscored that Iran’s Islamic Revolution has managed to live up to its principles. “Iran’s Islamic Revolution is the only revolution that has managed to maintain its existence based on basic principles and ideals.”

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Leader further underscored the importance of upcoming Assembly of Experts and parliamentary elections.

The Leader also urged all eligible Iranians to turn out en masse and vote in next month’s polls in an effort to guarantee the security of Islamic Iran.
