Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic and the great leader of the Muslim world, believed that the regime of Al Saud cannot be guided due to their addiction to oppression, cruelty and harshness. 

Imam also maintained in his speeches, messages that the deviant Wahhabi sect which is being supported and promoted by Al Saud is an open door for misuse by colonial and exploiting powers.

Imam Khomeini  also exposed crimes being committed by the Saudi the unelected regime and unconstitutional monarchy of Saudi Arabia against the entire Muslim Ummah. Imam also exposed the Saudi regime was playing into hands of the exploiting powers.   

This comes as Riyadh regime’s execution of top Shia cleric sheikh Nimr Baqr al-Nimr has drawn angry reactions from human rights groups and entire Muslim Ummah.

Lebanon’s Supreme Islamic Shia Council strongly denounced Saudi Arabia’s execution of Sheikh Nimr as a “grave mistake.”

The council’s Vice President Sheikh Abdel Amir Qabalan in a statement strongly condemned the execution, saying, “The execution of Sheikh Nimr was an execution of reason, moderation and dialogue.”

Several Muslim figures across various countries strongly condemned the Saudi regime for putting the leading Shia figure to death despite international calls for Riyadh to overturn his death ruling.

Pakistan’s Muslims Unity Assembly also decried the move as a challenge against millions of Muslims

In a similar move the Yemeni Houthi Ansarullah movement also depicted Sheikh Nimr as a “holy warrior” and said the Saudi execution of the top Shia cleric is a “flagrant violation of human rights.”

Hundreds of Bahraini people held a series of protest rallies in the capital, Manama, to express their fury and anger at the execution. 

A series of widespread protest rallies were staged around the word to condemn Riyadh.

Saudi Regime has already beefing up security in the Shia-dominated Qatif region of Eastern Province over the past weeks. Earlier, Saudi Arabia had evacuated all police offices in the Shia-majority town of Qatif since the announcement of the execution of Sheikh

Sheikh Nimar, a critic of Saudi Arabian monarchy, was shot by Saudi forces and detained in 2012 in the Qatif region of Shia-dominated Eastern Province, which was the scene of a series of peaceful anti-regime protest rallies at the time.

He was charged with, making anti-government speeches and defending political prisoners. The famous cleric had rejected all the charges as groundless.

Saudi regime has been under fire by international organizations and rights groups due to its worst rights record.
