Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of Imam Khomeini, made remarks while extending his condolences on the occasion of passing away of Khonsari.
He also stressed that Ayatollah Khonsari’s devotion and dedication towards Imam Khomeini’s ideals have always been well-established and manifested
Elsewhere in his message of condolence, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini also prayed God gives strength and patience to his family to bear the grief and pain.
Imam Khomeini; The founder of the Islamic Republic; pointed out that late Ayatollah Khonsari spent his precious life in preaching and promoting the teachings of the genuine Islam.
This comes as a massive funeral ceremony for late Khonsari is due to be held on Thursday. The ceremony will be attended by senior officials, university and seminary academics and people from various walks of life.
Late Khonsari has had well command over Islamic sciences and various disciplines of knowledge and has been considered as a great jurist.
It is notable that Imam Khomeini established Islamic-democratic by massive support of public in 1979. The Islamic Revolution toppled the brutal monarchy and Pahlavi regime of Shah.
The Islamic system provides massive participation of people in all governmental, cultural, social and political affairs.
