The media officials, journalists, reporters, correspondents and works held meeting with Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini to seek guidelines and discuss current affairs.
Delivering a speech to the gathering, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini emphasized on the significance of the upcoming parliamentary and Assembly of Expert elections and noted that people should cast ballots in favor of those candidates who are well aware of their duties.
The meeting was held in a friendly environment and a session of questions and answer had also arranged.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini on various occasion through his messages and speeches have highlighted the need for shielding the solidarity and protecting the divine legacy of Imam Khomeini and the values of the Islamic Revolution.
The developments come as Iranian people are set to choose dozens of deputies and representatives for the parliament and the Assembly of the Expert elections.
Since the establishment of the Islamic-democratic system under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini, Iran has held several parliamentary, presidential and Assembly of Expert elections.
The Islamic-Republic relies on vast participation of mass public in all governmental, cultural, social and political affairs.
Imam Khomeini through his speeches, messages and works urged the vast participation of people in all arenas. Imam managed to organize a referendum immediately after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
People overwhelmingly voted in favor of establishing Islamic-democratic system which brought economic and social progress and prosperity for the Iranian people and restored dignity to the entire Muslim Ummah.
