Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, Seyyed Yasir Khomeini and Seyyed Ali Khomeini were present in the historic meeting which took place in a friendly atmosphere.
Grand Ayatollah Safi Golpaygani, who is considered a great religious authority, stressed that his devotion to Imam Khomeini goes back a long way and has always been profound.
The jurist emphasized that he has also great devotion and affection for Seyyed Hassan Khomeini as well.
The senior clerics noted that people are well aware of status of Imam Khomeini’s family and sacrifices by the members of Imam’s house. He also added that that the people will always guard the rank and status of Imam’s descendants.
Elsewhere in his remakes, the senior cleric also praised the knowledgeable status and wisdom of Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the guardian of Imam Khomeini’s holy mausoleum.
For his part, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini thanked the senior cleric, saying his favors and acts of kindness have encouraged the friends and devotees of Imam. He also described Grand Ayatollah Safi Golpaygani as a manifestation of piety and virtues.
Imam’s grandson has been praised and highly appreciated for his wisdom, intellectualism and academic activities by senior religious personalities.
In recent years, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini has established several study circles which are attended by seminary and university figures in Tehran, Qom and other Iranian city.
Islamic Revolution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini in 1979 has brought prosperity in all fields of life. The revolution also restored dignity and grandeur to the whole Muslim Ummah.
Imam Khomeini also defended the rights of oppressed nations and highlighted the Palestinian issue on the international arena.
