Abolfadhl Amini, a young Quranic reciter said that the Quranic session at the holy site attracts attention of participants towards great spiritual and divine personality of Imam Khomeini.
The Quralic gathering at the Imam’s mausoleum bring a spiritual satisfaction for the attendees and devotees, he added.
Amini also said that he has had great devotion for the divine book of Quran form very early childhood and memorized it in a very short period of time.
It is worthy to mention that Imam Khomeini’s mausoleum which is located on the suburbs of the Iranian capital, Tehran has become a beacon of spiritual, religious, social and cultural activities in recent years.
Several Quranic sessions have been held at the holy site over the past months. The gatherings and study circles are being attended by intellectuals, academic, seminary and university figures and people from various walks of life.
Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic has had a great devotion to Quran, as experts believe that his mystical and philosophical thought have deep roots in the basic Islamic sources such as Quran and Sunnah of the holy prophet of Islam.
Several research works including a five volume interpretation of Quran from Imam Khomeini’s precious works has been extracted by a group of scholars and researchers and published by the institute.
Imam Khomeini left a range of works covering philosophy, mysticism, jurisprudence, Quranic interpretation, Hadith and literature. Imam’s academic and divine legacy has becoming increasingly popular among devotees and intellectuals across the globe.
It is worthy to mention that what makes Imam distinguished form other scholars is that he has been decorated from great moral and divine virtues.
