Foreign guests arrive to attend Imam Anniversary

Foreign guests from various countries start arriving to attend the 27 passing anniversary of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic.

According to our website's correspondence, some guests from India, Pakistan, Iraq and some other countries arrived in the Iranian capital, Tehran to attend the event which is set to be held on Friday.

At least 400 foreign guests including academics, intellectuals, and journalists from various parts of the globe would be at the attendance of this year’s ceremony.

The religious and spiritual gathering is attended by thousands of people from across Iran and other parts of the globe each year.

The Islamic Revolution, which emerged victorious in 1979 under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini, changed the balance of power in the interests of the developing and oppressed nations.

Imam Khomeini passed away on June 03, 1989 and departed heavenly after rendering great services to the oppressed nations and reviving the divine and moral values in contemporary history.
