Iranian nation’s dignity owes to Imam Khomeini thought

The IRIB chief says Iranian nation dignity owes to the thought and ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Republic.

Abdulali Ali-Asghari, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting chief said that roots of esteem, identity, greatness and dignity of Iranian nation have deep roots in thought of Imam Khomeini.

Ali-Asghari made remarks during a meeting with Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the late founding leader of the Islamic Republic.

The IRIB chief also went onto say that the effects and influence of Imam’s thought are deeply being felt in various continents of the world.

Ealrier Ali-Asghari, along with senior staff members pledged allegiance by visiting Imam Khomeini’s mausoleum which is located on the southern part of the Iranian capital, Tehran. They also vowed to promote Imam’s dynamic thought and ideals.

Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini in a speech emphasized on impartial coverage by national broadcasting along with sincerity and honesty without considering interest of certain groups or factions.  

The visit comes on the eve of the 27th passing away anniversary of Imam Khomeini, who passed away on June 03, 1989.

Imam established an Islamic-democratic system which strengthened the entire Muslim world and the oppressed nations.

The emergence of the Islamic Revolution under Imam Khomeini leadership in 1979 changed the balance of power on the international arena, and cemented the stance of oppressed nations against aggressive colonial powers.
