Minister visits Imam Khomeini historic residence in Khomein

The Iranian minister of communication visits historic residence of late founder of the Islamic Republic in city of Khomein.

Minister of Communication Mahmoud Vaezi along with delegation visited the holy site and was deeply impressed by simply life-style Imam Khomeini adopted during his lifetime.

Addressing to reporters at the site, the minister said that Imam Khomeini inspired awareness and awakening for the Muslim nations and oppressed people in contemporary Islamic.

Vaezi , who is also an engineer, politician, former diplomat, stressed the need for expansion and maintenance works at the holy site.

Imam Khomeini also opted to live in a very simply-built house in the Iranian capital Tehran even after becoming the founder of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

The sites are visited by thousands of pilgrims, intellectuals, scholars and tourists form across Iran and various parts of the world.

The experts maintain that sites regarding Imam should be preserved for next generations.

The victory of Islamic Revolution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini raised awareness among Muslims and oppressed people and strengthened their status and stance against colonial and exploiting powers.

Imam’s ideals and thought are becoming increasingly appealing for young generations and truth-seekers who seek to promote justice, equality and peace on the international arena.
