Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini made remarks while addressing a gathering of Quranic reciters, intellectuals and scholars who have attended a series of Quranic session at the holy mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, which is located at the southern part of the Iranian capital, Tehran.
The internationally-reputed scholar went onto say that the Islamic Revolution has been a real return to Islamic civilization and seeks to built the society by inspiring from teachings of Islam and monotheistic values
Several enriched Islamic disciplines such as Islamic philosophy, mysticism and jurisprudence were once extracted from Quranic verses and are closely associated with divine scripture, the Muslim scholar said.
He pointed out that the ultimate objective is for our lives are to be mingled with genuine teachings of Quran.
Elsewhere in his remarks Ayatollah Hassan Khomeini said, devotion towards Quran will reduce several difficulties, and could eradicate various types of extremism, brutalities and oppressions from the society.
The world Muslim scholar concluded by saying that the victory of the Islamic Revolution under wise leadership of Imam Khomeini has encouraged the devotion towards Quran and promotion of its divine teachings over the past decades.
