Imam described Islamic Revolution as divinely inspired

Imam Khomeini once said in a historic speech that the Iran’s Islamic Revolution had been divinely-inspired and confronted aggressive colonial powers.

Imam Khomeini made historic remarks on November 19, 1978 during his stay in exile in the Paris suburbs of Neauphle-le-Chateau. The speech was delivered just months before the final victory of the Islamic Revolution.

The victory of the revolution in 1979 under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini confronted the aggressive agenda by colonial powers and defended the rights of the Muslim and oppressed nations across the globe at a sensitive juncture of hisotry

Imam led the revolution with support of public masses and reliance in God, the Almighty.

Imam stressed that people from all walks of life have supporting the Islamic Revolution because its objectives are of divinely-inspired and have deep roots in Islamic teachings

“What I want to make clear is that at this time neither the political factions can say that they have brought this about, that they have mobilized the whole of Iran, nor can the clerical factions. It is the army of God that has brought this about. This has come about because of God's command. Therefore there is hope. This is not man's doing, so one cannot say that it has no support. God has commanded this.”Imam added that, “… but this uprising is different. It is God who has created this uprising…”
