The religious and spiritual gathering is being organized by the end of the current Iranian calendar year at Imam Khomeini’s holy shrine which is located on southern suburbs of the Iranian capital, Tehran.
The spiritual session is expected to be attended by members of Imam Khomeini’s family, senior Iranian civilian and military officials and people from various walks of life.
Several religious programs, special recitation of supplications and speeches by religious scholars have been planned for the event.
Iranian people attach great significance to sacrifices rendered by martyrs and their families in order to defend the Islamic revolution and shield the ideals of Imam Khomeini.
The victory of Islamic Revolution under wise leadership of Imam Khomeini at sensitive juncture of history revived the divine values.
The Islamic-Republic system also put Iran on track of progress and changed the balance of power in the interest of the oppressed nations.
