Imam Khomeini was himself a revered and supreme Islamic theologian and jurisprudential expert and had no need to attend lectures of other theologians. However, out of respect for Mr. Boroujerdi and to endorse him, he would sit in a corner of the lecture room and attend the late Ayatollah Boroujerdi’s lessons on rational theosophy. This is the case when we as theology students may regard both Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Boroujerdi in the same light.
