Imam Khomeini was the most prominent example of Islamic world in establishing an Islamic ruling system and leadership of new Islamic movements. Imam Khomeini at a time of western attacks [On Islam] and while Muslims moved backward facilitated a fresh breath for Islam’s Ummah [Muslim nation] and this Ummah found his lost one in Imam Khomeini.
And Imam Khomeini’s Fatwa [creed] for execution of Salman Rushdie was such a historical Fatwa that closed the way for any kind of insulting Islam and its holy prophet.
