Unity Conference participants attend congregational prayer

Participants at the 33rd Islamic Unity Conference attended congregational prayer led by Syrian Sunni cleric, Taghrib news reported.

Midday in the Iranian capital of Tehran and on the sideline of the first part of the 33rd Islamic Unity Conference participants attended the prayer led by prominent Syrian Sunni scholar to show another instance of the solidarity among different Islamic denominations, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
A major part of the guests to the 33rd Islamic Unity Conference including deputy of Hezbollah resistance movement Sheikh Naeed Qassim were among prayers.
 
The annual Islamic Unity Conference was opened with a speech by Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
 
The three-day event will continue to 16th November as it is held concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week and birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
