Imam believed kindness towards children could attract divine mercy

When Imam was in Najaf sometimes he used to go out and he used to come back and enthusiastically he was saying: I saw a child who was like this and I laughed with him; I pulled my hand on his face and on his head.

A child who his appearance condition was not clean; though he himself was very clean and a dirty child cannot very much impress him.

But Imam spoke highly like that of him and enthusiastically he was saying that for example he had pulled his hand on his head.

It was appearing to me that for example what can be interesting to Imam about that child. That was interesting to me that his kindness was based on what. Later I felt that that kindness has a basis since those children are closer to their sleves.

Those are closer to God and seeking God is common to all of them without them replacing that and without them putting another individual vis-à-vis Him.

And I was seeing that Imam had a basis for kindness and affection and that has to do with the principle of his belief in God, the Almighty.
