Virtual and online summit on Imam Khomeini held in Japan

An online and virtual summit on Imam Khomeini's ideals and about the history of Islamic Revolution had been held in Japan.

The conference was organized by the Iranian Cultural center in Japan with close coordination of academic institution on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of Imam Khomeini's passing and heavenly departure.   

The summit was attended by Islamic scholars from Japan, Iran and other parts of the world.

The scholars, intellectuals, professors and academics attending the online gathering highlighted the various perspectives of Imam Khomemini and the impact of the Islamic Revolution.

Highlighting various perspectives of Imam Khomeini's personality, the speakers said Imam Khomeini's memory and love for him is alive in the hearts of all Iranians, Muslims and enthusiasts around the world.

 Indeed, Imam was a leader who stood for God and truth in contemporary era, they highlighted.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Fatima Tabataba'ei, the daughter-in-law of Imam, said that Imam Khomeini who was a great spiritual, religious and political leader of the Muslims, left very deep impact on the contemporary world. She went onto say that all aspects including religious, political and cultural should be analyzed by scholars. 

Imam Khomeini restored spirituality and religious values to the society, she added. 

Dr. Fatima Tabataba'ei also highlighted that if the religion is not accompanied by rationality and moral, then it would bring about diversion for the individuals and societies. 

She concluded by saying that Imam has left behind precious theological works which remain a great treasure for scholars.
