Imam’s family members say that he also used to observe the fasting other than the blessed month of Ramadan during the year.
Imam never woke anybody up or caused any inconvenience if he sought to keep fasting in other than Ramadan.
In such a situation, Imam used to get up alone early before dawn and lit up gas stove to make tea and boil an egg.
He spent all the day on such a small food substance until breaking time of the fasting at dusk.
