Imam Khomeini voiced his concerns about oppressed people

Imam on various occasions used to voce concern about the oppressed and needy people.

People within close circle of Imam say that Imam even before the victory of Islamic Revolution, in letters to his son, Seyyed Mostafa Khomeini used to recommend to allocate thousands of rails to fulfill the needs of people across the holy city of Qom and other regions.

Following the victory of Islamic Revolution, Imam set up several institutions and organization which undertook the affairs of martyrs’ families, oppressed and needy family.

Imams never gave up efforts to secure financial needs of the weak classes of the society.

Imam distrusted his ancestral land among the needy and lived in a rental residence in the capital Tehran after becoming leader of the Islamic Republic.
