After the victory of the Islamic revolution in 1979, Islamic laws and rules were implemented and the Islamic veil was designed as obligatory for women.
But Imam advised the relevant authorities that they were not authorized to phsically confront those women who donot adhere to Islamic dressing code.
Imam instead of that, advised for launching guidance and preaching program so the faithful people follow the divine rules with their free choice.
