A memoirs by Leila Boroujerdi, Imam Khomeini’s granddaughter

It has been narrated that Imam Khomeini had great love and devotion for writing his ideas from very early young age. Imam wrote his famous work “Kashf al-Israr when he was just 27 years old.

Leila Boroujerdi, one of Imam’s grandfather s says that once when she was a school student, Imam advised her to serve society by writing down her ideas, poetry and study plans.

Imam told her that he had written his famous book of “Jurist guardianship and Islamic governance” in Najaf about 40 years even before the victory of revolution in 1979.

The book later become a subject of discussions for scholars and many commentaries were written about it over the past decades. The book provided the solid foundations for the Islamic Republic system as well.

At listening this, I was surprised and said to my grandfather (Imam): How stylish you were to handwritten a book many several decades ago.
