It has been reported through a series of memoirs that Imam Khomeini had been extra caustious about conspumption of electricity or any other natural or energy resources.
People within close circle of Imam says if he had seen that the lights of kitchen or the toilets had been left turned on without any reason. Imam used to come down the staris to turn them off.
It has been worthy to mention that if Imam needed a piece of paper or ball pen, he would come down to second storey without asking others to bring all these items for him.
