Pakistani MP Urges Muslims to Follow Teachings of Imam Khomeini

A Pakistani parliamentarian on Wednesday urged Muslims to follow teachings of founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini (s) to undermine the western efforts to weaken Muslim Ummah.

“Imam Khomeini gave a new direction of life to the people of Iran. He also taught Muslims how to stand on their own feet and his massage of love and unity of Muslims stands as a beacon for the entire Muslim Ummah,” said the Senator.

The lawmaker added that Imam Khomeini was truly a great leader. “But unfortunately we the Muslims cannot benefit from the wonderful teachings of Imam Khomeini, while if we had followed his teachings in true spirit we would be in much better position,” he viewed.

“We have to unite against western evil,” said Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi.

The politician viewed that west will continue to oppose Muslim brotherhood as they cannot tolerate Muslims standing on their own feet. “That is why the west is trying to isolate the great nation of Iran,” he added.

“We must follow the thoughts of Imam Khomeini to withstand all pressures,” he said. The lawmaker went on to say that Iran has a right to develop peaceful nuclear energy for betterment of mankind and prosperity of their people.

“US will continue its efforts to disunite Muslim world, and Israel the gangster of US is a curse. We must unite to ensure that they cannot create problems for the Muslim world,” said Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi.
