Oriana Fallaci, a famous internationally-reputed female Italian journalist confessed in her writings and interviews that she was deeply impressed by the personality of Imam and his dynamic thought.
The founder of the Islamic Republic in response to a historic interview had told her that the democratic values were well-established in divine religion of Islam and the women were free to exercise their civil, social, moral and religious rights and could be able to take part in building and progress of the Islamic Republic.
Oriana Fallaci used to recall that Imam had stressed that Islam was staunch supporter of the human rights and democratic values and intended to promote it in all perspectives.
