He passed away due to heart failure in the Iranian capital Tehran on June 05, 2022.
Dua’ei stood by Imam through all thick and thin times during the struggle for the revolution and he rendered numerous services for the nation following the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
The senior cleric also served at diplomatic missions of the Islamic Republic abroad and elected as a lawmaker to the parliament.
His academic services will also be remembered among intellectual circles
