Imam Khomeini revived notion of Muslim unity

Lebanese Hezbollah official in charge of foreign relations says the late founder of the Islamic Republic was the veritable reviver of the notion of Muslim unity.

 heikh Ali Da’moush was speaking to the Quds News Agency (Qodsna) a few days ahead of the 27th demise anniversary of the late personality. 

The Hezbollah official said Imam enjoyed a brilliant mind and managed to identify the primary problem of the Muslim community as disunity. 

The Lebanese figure touched on Imam Khomeini’s initiative in designating the last Friday of the Holy Month of Ramadan as the International Day of Quds, adding every Muslim must strive to advance the sublime unifying objectives of the late founder.

Da’moush also warned the Muslim states about the Israeli moves to mend its image as the prime enemy of the Muslim community, adding however that Muslims would not retreat even an iota from their demands over the Palestinian issue and the Islamic sanctities.
