The gatherhing was headed by Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of Imam, and some other professors and scholars.
The services of previous head Dr. Ahmad Gholizadeh were also highly appreciated at the ceremony which was attended by senior figures from universities and seminaries across Iran.
Dr. Moghaddam has already served on high-ranking positions at home and abroad following the victory of Islamic Revolution.
He had been a senior member of the board of governors and head of international department affairs at the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini's works.
The college and research center offers highly specialized at doctriorate level regarding Islamic Revolution and ideals of its founder, Imam Khomeini.
It also conducts comparative studies of Imam thought with high-caliber scholars, jurists, mystics and scholars.
The college has produced a lot of graduates who are serving as lecturers, professors and researchers at seminaries and unversities across the country.
