I respect Imam Khomeini because he was a great leader of Muslims and he was a great revolutionary figure. Through his guidance and his leadership our Iranian brothers were able to get rid of the despotic regime of the Shah. Imam Khomeini changed the direction of history.
He had a firm belief in democracy and after the victory of the Islamic revolution and supported democratic values.
Even during the war although there were a number of problems Imam insisted that the elections be held in an orderly manner. Imam Khomeini showed the world that it is impossible that a society be created in which without the consent and the will of the people. To summarize my opinion the most important work and task of Imam was this that he showed that dictatorship according to Islam is not allowed; the people have a right to choose and it is not possible to let go of their rights.
