Enemies infiltrate through sectarianism, sow discord and division: Seyyed Hassan Khomeini

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic has stressed the need of boosting unity among all Islamic sects and warned against divisive agenda by foes and enemies of the nation and Islam.

The scholar made remarks when he received a groups Sunni clerics from Golestan Province and held meeting with them.

Addressing the gathering, he said that sectarian strife has been among the main factor of infiltration by the enemies.

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini further said that the enemies were desperately attempting to sow seeds of discord, sectarianism and division.

He said that all cultural and religious means should be resorted to confront calamities regarding sectarianism. The enemies are misusing this difference to inflame and ignite conflicts.  

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini also stressed that the contemporary circumstances and contexts should be comprehended to preach the religion. 

Pointing to challenges facing the Muslim world, he said it was unfortunate that a bunch of Zionist criminals were killing civilians, destroying hospitals and residential neighborhoods.

And the United States and its European and Western allies were defending Israeli massacres and genocidal campaign in by terming it as “self-defense.” This all exposes their shameful claims of championing human rights. 

Israel launched hostilities in Gaza following a historic operation by the Gaza-based Hamas resistance group against the occupying entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

More than 100 days into the genocidal campaign, the regime has achieved no objectives despite killing at least 26,083 people in Gaza, around 70 percent of them women and children.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that all prominent figures should undertake efforts to confront Takfiri terrorists because these terror groups had hindered the progress and integration process in the societies.
