Expos and exhibitions are best platform to introduce and promote the dynamic thought and works of Imam Khomeini. Therefore the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini's always sets up stalls at such expos to introduce Imam's works in printed and digital forms.

The 24th edition of Iran Media Expo, which is a platform for showcasing the latest developments in media, was launched with a ceremony at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla on Sunday, signifying its comeback.

The event was graced by the presence of Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaeili, along with several cultural dignitaries and media figures.

The exhibition is currently hosting more than 600 media outlets, creative groups, and knowledge-based companies engaged in this industry for a span of four days, bringing together professionals from the worlds of media, culture, and technology.

Among the sidelines of the exhibition, there will be specialized sessions focusing on technology and artificial intelligence.

On the opening day of the exhibition, a wide range of activities took place, including political discussions, scientific sessions, book introductions, educational workshops, a press conference for executive officials, and a tribute to notable figures in the fields of communications and media.

Provincial pioneers were also honored, in addition to specialized sessions held in the international segment, comprising the main schedule for the day.

Additionally, on the inaugural day, six sessions and workshops were conducted, each falling under categories such as "Media Time," "Responsible Media," "Media Exploration Experience," "Workshops," and "Meeting with Dignitaries."

Earlier last week, Farshad Mehdipour, the Deputy Minister of Media and Advertising at the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, announced that various forms of media, including print, online, news agencies, new media, and knowledge-based media, have been invited to participate in the event. Additionally, special attention has been given to the technology sector, with a designated section for knowledge-based media groups.

"This year's exhibition will feature the presence of media activists and digital influencers, alongside a dedicated booth for international media representatives from Russia, Qatar, China, Lebanon, Turkey, and other countries," he added.

A section will also be dedicated to Gaza and renowned international media outlets have been invited to join the expo, with specific focus on European media activists who have been engaged in coverage of Gaza over the past four months, he explained.

The Iran Media Expo, which aims to promote and strengthen the media industry, will run until February 21.
